Food and Wine for all

Published 27th Oct 2011

The Food & wine Society was ordained a society in 1985 and with more than 25 years under its belt it is now open to ALL. By all we mean every single member of the university population that enjoys food & wine and all that it brings to our lives, especially as students. Whether it is the glass of rose on a night out in Rubix or a birthday meal in town food & wine is an accessory to life. The society aims to bring people together through amazing social experiences such as trips to 5* hotels, Cocktail evening, brewery & vineyard trips but to name a few.

The food & wine committee 2011 chaired by Kirsten Brown kicked off the year with a wine & sign event at The Lakeside Restaurant on Tuesday 18th October followed by a social at Tickled Ivory with cocktail specials for all members on 3rd November which promises to be a night of great music, entertainment, memories and Food & Wine!
