GU2 Radio at Student Radio Awards 2011

GU2 Radio has won two prizes at the Student Radio Awards. Your student radio station, GU2, won two silver awards for best marketing and best chart show. The ceremony took place at the IndigO2, inside the O2, on November 9th. The Student Radio Awards were hosted by BBC Radio One’s Scott Mills and Annie Mac. Many celebrities and national radio presenters were amongst the crowd at the ceremony. The annual event judges talent from student radio stations across the nation, and is a great platform into the industry. GU2 plans to enter for the awards again next year and hopefully come away with gold.
